Hello all,
Wanted to know if anyone has a diagram of the 4 O2 sensors locations on the Jeep JKU 3.6L engine? Or could shoot a link to a previous post or website? A lot on YouTube shows all Bank 1 sensors 1/2, no Bank 2 sensor 1/2. Appreciate the help.
Cheers.

Not fully understanding the question, but here is what info I can offer: The cats on the 3.6 are pretty much right off the heads (1 per side instead of having 1 large one after the ypipe). The O2 sensors are directly before and after the cats on both sides. It shouldn't be too hard to locate them. If you are replacing them, do it one at a time. It can be easy to mix up the plugs.

Hello, I replaced my cats and have my O2 sensors back in the cats (driver side) but not sure which ports to plug them into. There is a black and a white plug in port that goes to engine but does sensor 2 plug into the black or the white port? How would I know if I have them backwards? (I know I should’ve took a picture but too late for that)

Thanks for all the input. I assume the easiest way to get to Bank 2 sensor #2(downstream) is to remove the wheel liner on drivers side first. Then it looks like I should be able to see both Bank 2 sensors #1/2 near the Cat.! I plan on getting the loaner tool for Autozone to help remove the O2 sensor(PB blaster and some heat too). Thanks again, just need to know the location better.

Yes, for the driver side it's recommended to remove the wheel liner.

For the passenger side it's accordingly a b**** and you may have to remove the battery tray which in itself is a major PIA.

Have current Mopar part numbers for these sensors? I have a 2015 JK Rubicon HR Edition. I am assuming the upstream sensor and downstream sensor both have different part numbers. But both are same regardless of driver side and passenger side, correct?

Does sensor 2 (driver side) plug into the black port or the white port. I took both O2 sensors off (changing cats) and now I don’t know which connector they clip into. I have them correctly placed on the cats just not sure where to clip them back into. The connectors are right next to each other

Bank 2 sensor 1 is driver side upstream I believe. Double check your wiring, and connections. Hopefully you got Mopar or NGK/NTK sensors. I hear a LOT of negatives on Bosch or other brands.

One way you could test, plug in one of them, like the upstream one, then start it and see which sensor it throws a code for. If you left the downstream one unplugged and it throws a code for the downstream, you know you got the first one on the right plug. If it says the upstream is missing, then you move it and plug the downstream into that one.

Yes I replaced both catalytic converters and had already previously replaced my O2 sensors so there was no black and white connection at the ends so when I took everything out I didn’t think to check. Thank you for your reply. I just searched on Mopar for the original part and saw the bank 2 upstream had a white connector
