Do the lube locker gaskets work well with stock differential covers? Can anyone provide the correct part numbers for the front and rear gasket to fit a 2015 Rubicon with Dana 44's?
The same part number is used on both front and rear differentials?
They work well with both stock and aftermarket covers. I highly recommend.
yes (for Rubicons)The same part number is used on both front and rear differentials?
I'd venture to say most of us pull the cover to inspect when we're changing the fluid. If you just want to change the fluid the Dana 44 they have a drain in the bottom of the diff and a fill port. No reason to pull the cover unless you are changing gears.
Have you tried installing the bolts with medium strength threadlocker?I use one on the rear with an AEV cover. The bolts will back out every 12-16 months…I just retighten to torque spec.
this has more to do with the AEV covers than the gasket.
I have another one for the front but I dont remove the diff covers every time.
when I replace the diff fluid on my TJ next time I will probably install them When I refurb the stock covers.

I have not. I’m sure that would fix it.it isn’t a big enough issue for me not to use the LL.Have you tried installing the bolts with medium strength threadlocker?
Let's not forget the ease of cleaning the surface before re-installingThe biggest selling point for me is not having to wait for sealant to cure before filling the differential with oil, which allows you to immediately drive the vehicle after servicing.
