For the life of me I couldn't get them to stop pulling left. We did an alignment check and I was right to spec. We did radial pull rotations on both sides and even put on two new rears. Still pulled to the left. not to mention they suck on snow and crusty packed snow.
I'm now divorced from nitto... Thank gawd

 

And no, it had nothing to do with the steering stab

Having 35's put on my Daughters Jeep today, will be interesting to see the difference, I have the STTs on mine.

 

I really like the looks of them! But I'm afraid they will suck in snow and on ice so a deal killer for me...which is too bad

 

They are sipped, we get some snow/ice here in Oregon, so I will know more soon, having the STT Pros put on my Daughters Jeep today.

They have excellent wet pavement performance.

 

That review was impressive.

Did not think that any vehicle would be able to climb the 'slick' portion of that 30 degree wall when wet, especially starting from a stop on the incline.

Yes, advanced tread material, and improved tread design. And I can say that the Pro does seem to actually ride better.

 

Ten thousand very happy miles on my wife's Set. Running them around 27-28 PSI on highway and 12-15 in the dirt. Fine choice of tires. Just waiting on a set of Duratrac's to wear out (if they ever do)to buy another set of Pro's for mine.

 

Hey there! Im really leaning towards a set of these Pro's; how have they been in the past couple months since your last review? Any more experience with fresh or packed show? I'm in Michigan so I've been trying to find as many reviews as possible.

I've had these on my JKUR since around last November. I love them. I'm running 37/12.50/17. They ride really well. They aren't very noisy. They do AMAZING on wet roads. It doesn't snow in South Texas, so I can comment on winter performance. I highly recommend them to anyone. I just wish they made them in 40's.

 

Could you stalk a little more about road noise?

I'm I had settled on K02's but really think more than I need. So looking for something maybe "one step down" in price. But I was as quiet as possible as I'm sure 80% of my driving will be in the city plus 2-3 road trips a year.

 

Mine have been amazing in all aspects. Hold really well in the rain, which we have a lot of these days. Darn good in the snow too. Home Run!

 

A friend has these on her JK. 33" x 15 x something. They drive really well on the road. I bit more noise than the KMs, but not distracting. Great wear too, thanks to the high silica content.
The only down side *may* be in chipping and tread cuts in sharp rocks (I notice this with the S/T Maxx).
*If* so, that's a small niggle in my mind for anyone short of a full on rock hound.

Question for those of you with the 37x17R versions:
Do you notice any "flat spotting" when sitting over night?
How did they balance out weight-wise?

I have 35's and haven't noticed much flat spotting. Maybe slightly for a block or so.

what size are those? stock height?

 

For those of you wondering about road noise, they are fairly quiet so far (not much different than the duratracs I previously ran), mind you I've only had them a few weeks and I imagine they will get louder as they age.

 

How much do they weigh in the 35" size?

 

The 295/75R18 tire which they call an advertised 35" (actually measures at exactly 34" mounted at around 40 PSI) weighs in at 69 lbs. I weighed the tire/stock sahara wheel combo on a scale myself and tagged exactly 96 lbs. I then looked up that my wheel alone should weight 27 lbs so simple math tells me the tire is 69 lbs.

Thanks, yeah I am quite pleased with the look of these. The size is 295/75R18 and they measure out to exactly 34" mounted.

 

Thanks for the reviews. I've ordered a set of these in 295/65r20, (35.4" advertised height) as well as a tire re-grooving tool so I can add siping into the tread blocks that do not have any, for better rain, ice and snow performance. Upgrading from 275/65r20 BFG KO2's (advertised height of 34.1"), which I really like. I just wanted something a little bit taller without going too much wider. I'm a fan of skinny and tall tires.

FYI;

When you say mounted, do you mean with the Jeeps weight on them, or just mounted on the wheel and not installed on the Jeep?

 

Mounted meaning the measurement from the ground to the top of the tire at 40 psi with the jeep sitting on them.

 

My truck is going to need a set of tires this fall and I may have to try these out on it...
