hello i just bought my first jeep. its a 1997 wrangler, it has an air bag but i was wondering....they sell the momo kit online and i was wondering how you do this if it has an airbag? i mean does it matter?

you get rid of the airbag. You have to disconnect the battery (and the airbag backup battery)

Edit: not a backup on jeeps. they use a capacitor and are discharged about 10min after you disconnect your battery. The airbag module should be under the driver seat. I might be thinking about cherokee's though. I'm new to having air bags myself.
