Bottom line, this, JScan, Torque, etc all kinda do similar things and I guess I’m trying to see if they will do stuff like a Superchips Trail Dash as well.

 

I had OBD Fusion (for IPad, now I use Android). When I had it, it only performed CAN Bus monitoring and clearing codes (similar to Torque for Android).
Maybe the publisher or the App Store could get you some answers.

The FCA Add-on provides access to additional modules such as ABS, Airbag, Transmission, Body Control, and many others, as well as, access to hundreds of parameters and sensors that are not available over standard OBD2. Yeah, that’s what I read too. Going to see if I can get any more info by plugging in.

Honestly, for $10-15 it’s probably worth it.

 

So I spent the $10. Not sure what I got. I can’t see how anything is actually configured, I can only see values.

 

Jscan has upgraded too with lots of additional value changes available.

 

Yeah I read about some of the stuff they have. I’ve contacted the OBD Fusion folks to ask, so we’ll see what happens.

 

I've had JSCAN for a couple years. Bought a '17 JKUR a couple weeks ago and bought a license for it. I used it last weekend to activate the camera in the 430N. Works great.

 

I got a reply from them. No adjustments, only monitoring. Bummer, kinda wasted $10. Oh well.

I don’t have an immediate need to do any changes, but I thought for sure they would have worked on that if they were going to add additional parameters.

 

Just downloaded Jscan. I guess my old adapter that works well with obd fusion won’t work. Now I’m really disappointed as it’s kinda stupid to buy another one.

I feel like I got pretty taken on this whole deal. Oh well. At least it’s not a lot of money...

 

OBD Fusion is seeming to lose favor with me. After finishing some work I took the Jeep for a quick spin and the CEL light came on. Fine, read the codes and a slew of old ones in there for various reasons (when I changed the headlights and stuff like that) and despite the “enhanced” functions, it won’t clear those codes. Kinda lame.

 

If you are on Android, try Torque.

 

I’ve got an android tablet for one of the other cars, but I’m just going to go the JScan route.
