painting flares/ gloss or satin

ok in june i am painting my fender flares, I just cant decide if i want to use satin or gloss black krylon. my jeep in black and i am going with a blacked out them. why i wanted a black jeep. also would glossy be more easy to clean than satin? pics would be great

I used Satin Krylon Fusion on mine and they turned out great (it has more of a sheen than the Rustoleum Bedliner) but I would like to see what ones painted in GLOSS looked like. Nothing wrong with the satin but I wonder if gloss would make them look more like they were originally.

Oh, and Satin is super easy to clean.

I have a 97 Sahara so they are factory painted black but are scratched up & a little faded, so I bought some hurcurliner brush on bed liner do y'all think that will look brushed on ?

Probably will look like crap actually if you're just touching up factory sahara flares. Sahara flares are smooth and glossy, bed liner is matte black and textured...the two wont match well. If you really wanna use bed liner i'd paint all your flares so it matches, dont just touch them up if thats what you were planning on.

Personally im not a huge fan of bed liner on flares cause there is too much texture and it looks too flat. I also dont like glossy paint either. Krylon satin was smooth, not too glossy, and not too flat. Its the best match for factory flares in my opinion. If i had a sahara i might use gloss black cause thats how they came from the factory. To each their own though.
