Has anybody tried the Quadratec Diver Down seat covers? I am wanting some seat covers for my JKU. I have been looking at the Bartact base line performance covers because of the cost of the normal Bartact covers. I noticed these covers in the new Quadratec Catalog and I wanted to know if anybody had any experience with these? For $169 they are very tempting.

I'm in the same boat as you, $169 for a full set could buy me some time till I could affoard Bartacts. I wonder why they show them with the red insert but then the red isn't an option? (Or I could be me trying g to view their site on my tablet.)

These have me interested too, $170 for a full set front and rear is tempting. I have a few Quadratec branded items that have held up well so I may pull the trigger on these. Also, no Romokid I am looking on my laptop and there is not an option for red even though they have it pictured, kinda weird they would do that.

These are brand new! We designed these to be a good quality, great priced, neoprene seat cover. Red is showing as available in-house. I can quote for red if requested. I e-mailed my Web Team to look into this as well.

As a WF member you also receive a discount! For a discounted quote you can go about it 3 ways:

1) PM me with your first & last name, address, zip and the part numbers you would like to order. I'll reply back with a discounted quote if applicable. This takes 1-3 business days on average depending on PM volume.

2) E-mail my sales rep Rob at: RobW@quadratec.com Tell him you're a Forum user and would like a discounted quote. He'll get that going for you. He typically responds within hours if it's Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Eastern.

3) Call my sales line at 1-800-745-2348. Tell them you're a Forum user and would like to place an order with your Forum discount. Their hours are Mon-Thurs 8am-Midnight, Friday 8am-9pm, Saturday 9am-5pm.

Whichever you prefer works for us.

Thanks & have a great day!

They are very nice for the cost and easy to install. Other than being on back-order for a month I have no complaints. I always forget about the WF discount. Anyway to add a code to online order for discount?

Rick,
Do you know if the Diver Down Seat covers have nylon on both sides of the neoprene like the Wet Okole or just the outer side and rubber on the side that touches the seat?

Here is the layer breakdown of the Diver Down seat covers:

1. Synthetic colored top layer
2. Neoprene layer
3. Foam cushion layer
4. Synthetic woven backing layer.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Thanks!

Thanks Rick for the quick response.

Purchased a set last night hopefully they will arrive the sometime next month and I will get them installed and give a review.

This throws me back to my first car, a 72 Camaro with vinyl seats. Hot Arizona summers and the back of my shirt would be wringing wet and stuck to the seat. Neoprene may be good for cold wet climates, but can't see any use for it where it gets hot.

Who has experience with neoprene and dog hair? I have a cover on the back seat that is just one of those "clip on around the headrest" style ones I got off amazon for like $15 (Works great btw if anyone is looking. It's the Amazon Basics one.) but,mMy dog jumps in the front all the time where I don't have a cover. How is neoprene to vacuum or does the dog hair tend to stay in it?

The price of these has me very tempted.......

I dont have neoprene seat covers but I do have a cheap neoprene like console cover specifically because my dogs sit on it, walk on it etc. It has been super easy to keep clean. Everything wipes off very easily. Hope this helps.

These are were not designed to match any factory paint colors, though may be closer to some than others. At this time we do not have swatches available but will be offering them in the near future.

I'll make sure to post in this thread when they are available.

Thanks!

This is a brand new product. They are waterproof as they have neoprene in the layers of fabric. If you would like a discounted quote please PM me with your first & last name, address, zip, year of your Jeep and the part number(s) you would like to order.

Thanks,

Are there any swatches available? I'd like to see the color and the material before ordering.

Hey there,

From my personal experience I can tell you almost all products fade due to UV light. There's not really a way around that except keeping it out of the sun. I am a SCUBA diver and my wet suits fade within a couple months, even when using UV protectant. Red goes to pink/white, black goes to a gray-ish white, blue goes to a light blue-ish/gray-ish, and so on. This has happened to every wet suit and every neoprene seat cover I have ever seen.

If fading is of concern I would recommend the Bartact seat covers:

They are a waterproof-backed polyester fabric and will not fade as quickly.

Thanks!

As a fellow dog owner make sure to check out Dirty Dog 4x4 products if you have not yet already done so. Works great to keep my Husky in the Jeep when the top is off!

And the Rugged Ridge C3 Cargo Liner (It can stay in place when folding your seats too!). Dirty Dog also has a version. This was in my JKU, the C3 version:

Appreciate any reviews. I think I will wait until it starts getting over 100F on a regular basis (end of May) to order some to see if they are comfortable in the heat.
