Quadratec Replacement Panels

Hi,
I was curious if anyone has used the CJ-7 replacement rocker panels, rear fender panels, and rear corner panels on a YJ? I need to replace them on my YJ and I can only find them for the CJ. I know i will have to do welding and such, but was wondering if I should even bother with the panels or attempt to make my own.

the cj panels should work just fine. i just put a yj body tub on my cj7. the body tubs are almost identical. only very minor differences. the rockers, rear fender panels and rear corners are the same. the only difference you will run into is that on the rear corner panel the fuel filler is on the opposite side.
