If you don't mind traveling a bit my friend Joe at Tuffy Auto repair in Batavia is a very good mechanic well versed on all things Jeep. He has done lifts, alignments, new gears, OPDA's dropped a new long block in my 97, you name it he can do it. Also a Mopar Muscle car guy.

My rear passenger side leaf spring has just separated from the frame (rust issues - uggh) so I'm weary of driving it very far. I'll try to find someone close by to do some welding work, but will definately keep Tuffy Auto repair in mind for future!

 

Correction...not leaf spring, but lower control arm has separated from frame due to rusted out frame. Anyone know of best way to repair? Are there frame repair kits available?

I use Thom's Four Wheel Drive but it is in Chicago proper... may be too far for you. They did my lockers, installed my SYE, and have done a ton of other work.
