I have the Smitty SRC's. They are plainer Tube steps, but they look like they attach the same way. The front bolts are a pain because you have to get the nuts inside of the frame, and they nut is on a metal stick so you can reach. It's tedious, but I did it without having much skill.

I'm not a fan of the design of these, but I've been very happy with the quality of the SRC ones, especially since I paid $265 for them on Amazon! 15 minute install on my Rubicon - unbolted the factory ones, bolted these on in the same spots, no issues at all.

These are very heavy duty sliders and attach right to frame mounting bolts not the body.

 

Those look great, especially the color matching. They do look difficult to keep clean, do you struggle to get mud/debris off them?

 

Not tough to keep clean. I have some touchup paint for scratches etc. No issues. These are great sliders and steps. You can remove any panel if you need to do serious work on just that panel. I removed them all for painting before install.

 

I take it you color matched the paint, looks perfect. Where did you find the matching paint, and how did you apply?

Your Wife, a Buddy, etc... getting your Jeep and stands on the rail and you go " WTH are you doing! How would like it if I stood on your car?! " Ha jk.

Like I said. You could only use it once but it would be funny. I still get my Wife when we go to the store with the Jeep naked. I always say "Ooh watch your door!" never gets old.

Have you tested them yet? By tested I mean bashed them into some rocks?

 

Two cans needed.

I have not bashed them into rock yet only dirt mound and snow banks. So, no real test yet. I am headed to Moab next month Woooohooo!
