The footwell lights are actually soldered in on a little circuit board. It's not a bulb swap. :(

Here's a picture (not sure why its rotated) of the LEDs in the rear dome and the stock lights in the bar so you have an idea of what the difference is:

The LEDs put out a lot more light and make it easier to find things in the dark interior.

Anyone have a suggestion on reverse/backup light bulbs? thanks
I ordered the ones off ebay that were mentioned a couple threads down for $11 each as a low risk test but was also checking out some they have on diodedynamics.com that are much more $$$ for the CREE XML2's.

I've also got my eye on their Fogs which I hope to convert to yellow if my conversion to Cibie's with H4's eliminated the need for the driving lights.

Problem I have is I just don't know if you're paying a bunch more money for similar or identical. The stuff on diodedynamics certainly looks top notch though.

I bought a set at my local walmart for $17 bucks that fit perfectly in my wrangler, but the package said that the bulbs were for a new F-150/Raptor. I don't usually shop for car stuff at walmart but I was picking up new wiper blades and saw these and decided to try them. They are bright, but the light output seems a little blue not pure white. I think it would be fine if you have black seats, but it looks funny with my tan leather seats.

I bought red one's at autozone for 12 bucks (2 in the pack) as my 3 yr old randomly decides she's scared of the dark and wants the speaker bar lights on at night ;)

They just pop off. The speaker bar should come right off if you pull down on the front or rear of the clear plastic piece. There should be a small slot on one side of the clear plastic of the rear dome, a small flathead screwdriver can be used to pry it open.
