Hey Guys,
I wanted to share my own personal review of the teraflex 2.5" coil spring lift as I find it hard to find all of the info on some of their products from users online.
I have had this kit on for about two weeks and will be parting with it soon to move to the next stage of lift. I will break this down into a couple of subcategories to hopefully help fill in gaps for those considering this lift.
1. Completeness of kit - this kit comes with everything you need to lift your jk, including adjustments for sway bar end links, bump stops at all 4 corners and a rear pan hard bar relocation bracket. Everything fit as it was designed when installing and looked high quality from a finish standpoint.
2. Fit - there were absolutely 0 problems with installation. Instructions were good. I am running 315/70r15 tires and did not have to cut seams or stock rubi bars to properly clear the new tires thanks to the proper bump stops.
3. Finish - as advertised my rake is completely gone and the jeep sits high enough to clear a 35 with proper backspacing.
4. Ride quality - I am in Louisiana and our roads are terrible. My kit came with the 9550 shocks (which I highly recommend). The ride quality is night and day better than my factory Rubicon set up was. Where I would almost smack my head on my roll bar pulling into my driveway before (I'm 6'4") the new components have taken all of the violence out and made harsh bumps more well received. Train tracks at speed, gravel roads and climbing or dropping are now absorbed by the suspension and not by my teeth. I took a buddy with a 4 door on a budget boost and he was astonished at how much more smoothly my 2 door rode than his 4 door.
4. Cons - it retains a very similar nose dive when hard braking as the factory suspension did. I've only had the jeep for about three weeks so I'm not sure if this is common on jk's but its really only more of an annoyance.
5. Coil lift w/shocks vs. Coil lift with extensions vs. Budget boost - I highly recommend saving up the extra couple of hundred bucks to go coil with shocks. I can tell tera did their homework putting this spring/shock pairing together as the ride is dramatically better than stock. I ran a bb on an 09' that I had for about 8 months several years back and the ride quality was actually worse after lifting.

Hopefully this helps and please don't relocate this to the lift thread, I research a lot and honestly that thread is useless because of its difficulty to navigate.

I'm looking into installing the same 2.5 lift. I asked the guys at teraflex this question but maybe one of you guys could answer for me. they havent got back to me on it. I have an Ace rear bumper and tire carrier they say its 190lbs and I have an Ace stubby bumper with a 9.5 warn cti so they are at 190lbs. Is this weight a factor for this lift? I just dont want to squat back down again.

I have the TF 2.5" coil lift as well; got the shock extensions to keep my Rubi stockers, and the ride quality is excellent. However, even though the TF springs might be strong enough to accomodate some extra weight, I've lost at least 0.5" of height after installing heavy front & rear bumpers (w/tire carrier) and a winch. Now, I kind of regret not having started out with a 3"/3.5" lift (to compensate for the weight), or maybe a different manufacturer with "better" springs (RK? OME?)

If it's not too much hassle, I might try to add some spacers to re-gain some fender clearance. Or, maybe just get flat fenders. It never ends, does it? ;)

i just got my tearflex 2.5 coil lift installed today also using my factory shocks and i also put a 3/4 daystar coil spacer on the jeep for a total of 3.25 inches of lift with 35 12.50 17 BFG KM2 tires. the jeep looks bad !!! it drives better than it did i cannot tell a power loss it just moves right down the road. i have a 2011 jeep wrangler unlimited 4 door with a 3.8 engine and 3.73 gears. the shop that did the work loves the lift kit and i would tell anyone to buy this kit. i will try to post some pics of my jeep later on. the 3/4 spacer really looks great with the lift.

I'd like to add my experience with installing a 2.5 Teraflex spring lift w/o shocks on my '13 Freedom Edition. I decided to go with 33's instead of 35's as I will be mostly pavement driving and wanted to maintain my gas mileage, ride, and I've heard that the front axel needs to be beefed up to handle the stress from 35's. So I installed the 2.5 and I love the ride and looks. Installation took about 8 hours for this do it yourselfer and was fairly easy, but I should have sprung for the kit with the longer shocks instead of adding shock extensions, would have made install even easier. If you have the tools and a little know how it can be done by yourself, instructions are good, just be prepaired for an all day job as it is time consuming removing all the hardware to get the axel to come down far enough to remove and install the new springs. See before and after pix below. Let me know what you think.

Equipment so far:
2.5 Teraflex spring lift
1.5 Spidertrax wheel spacers
285/70-17 Duratracs
Ace Engineering Rock Rails (fit with stock rock rails, and look great)
Paint film on the front end and rear fenders.
Window tint front windows to match back.
Ventvisors for front and rear windows.

Did you experience Death Wobble after install?

What are you guys doing with your brake lines. I noticed the rear lines should work out good with the provided drop bracket but looking at the front lines on my 2013 the drop brackets will prob not work as it looks like there is no slack in the front lines and they lay along the top of the frame which would prevent them from having any downward adjustment. Im thinking I will need a set of longer lines for the front .

When you install the front there is a clip rgar attaches the lower end of the brake line. You have to unscrew that clip before you seat the springs and re install it after you put the shocks back on. The shock length will prevent you from over extending brake lines. Once everything is hooked up. If you want I will be more than happy to swap my 10' brake lines with you for your pentastar.

Just picked mine up.Finally after months of reading researching saving money and then waiting to get time to get it in to the shop my 2.5 TF spring lift and Rancho 9ks is on. It rides better than stock. I have the Ranchos set to 3 in rear and 4 in front for now.Its setting perfectly level.

Any central Ohio guys looking for a good install place try Tims tires in Chillicothe.Family run business and great folks to deal with and they know what they are doing.

What bumpstop lengths did you have to add?

When I installed my Lift I needed 2.5" bumpstops on the front to stop the JKS trackbar from hitting the diff. I am trying to figure out my options as when I get new fenders I will be able to go to about 1" of bumpstop. But that will only be if I can figure out how to get an adjustable trackbar to clear the diff.

Artec makes a raised track bar bracket.
