Hi there Wrangler Forum,

Early last year, AutoGuide had several forum members (as well as myself) apply for the chance to test-out some new tires. I figured okay, I haven't won anything since I was a kid and I won a case of Coka-Cola but I figured what the heck and entered. I'm sure it had nothing to do with my admin status and was more likely tied to my shiny new Gladiator, but I won! Toyo gave me these tires to test...I'll have a full review soon, but here are my first thoughts. I'm definitely no professional and I'll never make any money on YouTube but here is my video:

I can't listen to vid, just read it, but did you mention size?
Just as a question- are those the white outlined letter ones, with the white run to the inside? I ask because I also run those, 275/70r18, and I found that the WOL ones had a far less aggressive shoulder than the BSW ones. I know this because the WOL ones would not stop vibrating at around 50mph. They tried 4 times, finally made them replace them with the BSW ones, and they were perfect. But I noticed the aggressive difference in the shoulder tread immediately. Meaning those lugs at the side that go down the sidewall a bit. On the BSW, they are deeper, and go further down.
They are an awesome tire though, and perform in all modes better than my previous KO2's did, and I loved those tires.

I have the Nitto Terra Grapplers, cant tell the difference between them and the Toyo's, same company and a guy from work has the Toyo's, cant tell the difference. Anyway, I remember when I had them mounted they asked which sidewall I wanted out, as they are different on each side for the shoulder tread.

I'm waiting to hear how well they do off road. The ones on my trucks work well.. But those vehicles don't go on many extreme trails , unlike my heap.
They are better in mud than my ko2's were. They grip even wet rock well. I am still up in the air with the 2 ply sidewall in my size vs the 3 ply in my ko2's. I did slide them against a curb pretty good with no damage though, FWIW.
They are still an all terrain, but outperform my ko2's in basic offroading here in New England. Not a boulder crawler though, so not able to say how they will do in that.

I have driven Beastmasters new JT with these tires on it. I thought that they held the road very good, and were nice and smooth for E Rating. We also went off road on a nasty washboard road. For 10 ply's, they really soaked up the bumps and vibrations very well..IMO

the c rated 35/11.5-17 are 3 ply side wall as well. My one beef with the ATIII is they are a little shorter than say a Toyo RT or MT in the same size.

Within a month of taking delivery of my Willys Edition Wrangler I swapped out the Firestone Destination M//T tires (255/75R17) with a full set of Toyo ATIII tires (285/75R17) and very much prefer the Toyo tires for their handling, off-road performance and how quiet they are compared to the Firestones.

Hi! These look awesome. I was going to order Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires but your pic maybe change my mind. Question though - how are they riding? No change needed to gear ratio? rubbing? I was thinking about getting the 285/70/r17 just to be safe. Thanks!
