The 8mm is too small and the 9 spins. The rears were 8mm and came loose, but the fronts seem rusted in place. Line bleeding isn't good enough after replacing the lines.

the flats on the bleeder may have been screwed up by someone in the past..if a 9mm spins then it probably should be a 8mm which is the same as a 5/16..you might actually have to use visegrips to loosen them so you can replace them with new ones
Got militant and used vise grips this morning. I will have to repl. the bleeds at some point though. The wife helped me bleed the brakes & I now have brakes again! Now it both moves, stops, and turns.
