Mine is empty and need to fill it up, but wondering if anyone has any they suggest or maybe ones to stay away from? I have a 2021 Jeep Wrangler sport.

I've also heard bad things about RainX. I've read many complaints about it clogging washer nozzles and a quick google search can confirm it is a common problem with that brand.

I have used Rain X exclusively on every vehicle I've owned since 1999. .... Expedition, Focus, Infinity G37, and now the Jeep. It's never clogged anything up. Works great.

I also am a nut about keeping my windshield clean and so I go through it regularly and replace it with new stuff. If you're one of those guys that would rather squint through a dirty windshield than clean it, I don't know how months of setting and evaporation will affect it.

As a matter of fact....I'm due. I'm getting some today.

I purchase the almost cheapest kind. Whatever is on the shelf. I pay more attention to the temperature range.
That said, Windex had a windshield washer on the shelves a couple of years ago and I haven't seen it since.
It was pricey, but amazing.

Most of the year any of the blue smurf piss, but some of them must be of a cheaper quality, I've have some slush up and clog lines in freezing temps, then I upgrade to one of the higher cost brands, I could just add some rubbing alcohol to the solution I guess, lowering the freeze point.

My single biggest concern when buying windshield washer fluid is to make sure that I am getting the stuff rated to -40 degrees (the same in both Celsius and Fahrenheit --- the two scales meet there). You make the mistake of using the cheaper stuff, and then having it freeze solid and burst your washer fluid reservoir, only once.

The most cost effective solution for cold climates is the 28 oz bottle of rubbing alcohol bought at Walmart for a couple bucks. Empty the bottle topping up with blue washer fluid. I also poured a bottle in the gas tank kept ice out the lines and this with leaded gas. Down here on the coast I use water year round, but in January I pour rubbing alcohol in the reservoir.

CaptainHook, I have thought of doing exactly that, or at least adding some 70% isopropynol to the (cheap) windshield washing fluid, but I've never been sure if doing so might have some detrimental effect on the (plastic) reservoir or washer fluid lines, or at just what concentration of isopropynol such a detrimental effect might occur.

It really doesn't make any difference if I use the generic WalMart brand or the top shelf brand because when I get my oil changed the shop tops off the windshield cleaner with their house brand.

Never had to add washer fluid to the Jeep, cause the dealer fills it at every oil change. [I have a lifetime warrenty I have to maintain] For my other vehicles I use distilled water and a little squirt of dawn dish washing soap. Works very well and cuts off the road grease with no problem. No chance of it freezing here in Cali.

The dealer doesn't have to do your oil changes to maintain the lifetime warranty, just keep the receipts of the oil and filters you buy and you can DIY. We had a lifetime MaxCare warranty on our 2013 JK and we have one on our 2018 GC. I do my own oil changes.

I know that.... however one of my phase sensors went out and the dealers mechanic complained the reason the sensor went out was because the oil had never been changed! I told the service manager to check my oil change record and low and behold, he found the oil had been changed EVERY 3 to 4 thousand miles since I had purchased the vehicle. On their OWN records!. Not only that, since Jeep has sooooo many issues with the oil filter canister and oil cooler, I would rather have the dealer mess with those items. I simply do NOT want to have to argue with them for warranty issues. I do replace things like brake pads myself.

I buy blue window cleaner at the dollar store and mix it with distilled water. Works great, just like cleaning the windshield with glass cleaner. Duh. When I head up to the mountains in winter I dump in a bottle of isopropyl alcohol as suggested above.
