Why is Jeep denying my gorilla glass warranty claim?

I've got a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 392, pebble kicked up from another car last weekend, gave me the worst rock chip on any windshield i've had in 40 years of driving (impressive, Gorilla Glass!). Took it to my Jeep dealer, got a response that it's only covered for 1 year, 12k miles (after taking pictures, making me wait 4 days, and only responding when I finally called). Just spent 90 minutes on with Jeep's (useless) warranty team ("so sir, you're saying that another car hit your windshield?' Me: "No, I said another car kicked up a pebble that hit my winshield"). They come back to tell me it's covered for 1 year, 12k miles. I keep telling them that it's literally on your web page that it's covered for 2 years unlimited miles. So frustrating.

Am I missing something? do I have any recourse? Appreciate any feedback, I'm beyond ticked off right now...

I gather this quoted below from their website

Lots of exemptions that are apparently their call not yours
my favorite is "Additional exclusions may apply." without even saying what those exclusions are
so they could make up almost anything as an additional exclusion like not covered if happened after 3pm on a odd day of the month
gotta love the lawyers who write up these things
also note it is date of install not date of purchase so do you even know on what date glass was actually installed durring the build

"MOPAR WINDSHIELD MADE WITH CORNING GORILLA GLASS WARRANTY
Mopar Windshield Made with Corning Gorilla Glass has a 2-year limited (from date of install), unlimited-mile warranty, which provides for labor and parts needed to repair or replace your windshield under certain conditions. Mopar warrants your windshield from damage associated with road debris such as pebbles or other small objects which may cause initial damage larger than a US quarter (1 inch/25mm) and less than 3 inches/7.6 cm. Larger instances or smaller blemishes, along with the subsequent cracking that may be caused by not repairing them, are not covered by this warranty. Dealer requires proof of purchase and windshield will only be repaired or replaced under the warranty once within the warrantable period.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED:
Damage caused by any other force such as an accident, large debris, fraud, falling objects or other acts of God are not warrantable. The damage from road debris referred to in this section is warrantable notwithstanding other provisions in the Mopar warranty. Additional exclusions may apply."

It's so frustrating because the rock chip literally fits their exact description in the warranty. It's about an inch and a half wide (though I now have a 2 foot long crack in my windshield as a result (yay Gorilla Glass). I didn't ask them for a copy of the warranty, I literally asked them to let me share it with them (at the dealer), and read it to them over the phone (warranty customer service). Dealer was quick to say he has no control over a denied warranty claim, folks on the warranty line were beyond clueless. First person sent me an e-mail to share with the dealer that says I have a 3/36 mile warranty. I explained to her that it's not going to work, there's a specific warranty for the windshield...so she transfers me to the extended warranty department. I have to explain that this is not part of the extended warranty (even though I have one), so he transfers me back. The first question..."so I understand you have an issue with your warranty?". My response, "No, I have an issue that nobody at Jeep/Mopar/Stelantis seems to have an understanding of the warranty for the windshield". They keep telling me it's 1 year, 12k miles (and that's the reason my warranty was declined, not because I don't fit the qualifications of the rock chip). "Can I read you directly from your website, the warranty posted in 2024, that clearly states it's a 2 year, unlimited mileage warranty"? Anwer...no. (btw, link to the warranty page is at the top of my original post). I've already emailed the Assistant Service Manager at my local dealer who worked with me to express my frustration and let him know that if I don't hear back by today, I'll be calling the Service Manager on Monday and keep escalating from there. I'm sure it'll get nothing done, but I'm going to the biggest pain in the a they've come across until I get a valid answer for declining my claim. Maybe there is one, but I sure as heck can't see what it is.

Gorilla Glass is total marketing. So is that window Film. Glass cracks. There used to be and they might still be that company that did/does make a real none breakable to a point anyway. I remember them saying it can stop a 22-38 cal. polycarbonate i think it was in 1/4 and 3/16 made to fit a JK.

Issues with Polly it can scratch easier then glass. This could be fixed with that window film that peels off and has layers to peal as you go. They are not DOT But reality should be. Mounting them is a bit harder since i read the window glue dont stick well to Polly? So might want to screw it down as well as glue.

I went through 3 windows in the first few years. Then it went on a trailer and not an issue in 10 years

Can and does!

That is why I was (and still am) so irked that the idiot engineers/bean counters with Stellantis went with stupid, STUPID polycarbonate plastic lens covers for the headlights in my 2022 JL, instead of the standard glass that I had always had on every other vehicle. I can already see them starting to get fogged, and I treat them with kid gloves whenever I wash them.

Removing glass from the headlights was just another bean-counter travesty that should have the responsible parties summarily executed.

Does anyone here know, are there ANY aftermarket glass replacements for the JL plastic headlight covers/lenses? And can those stupid, STUPID plastic headlight covers/lenses even BE replaced?

all of these things may be true...but my biggest complaint is that I took my Jeep into my local dealer, and my warranty claim was denied and the Servica Assistant Manager wasn't interested in hearing about the warrranty that is currently posted on the Jeep website. I was then sent to a 1-800 number and spent 90 minutes on the phone with 3 seperate individuals that clearly knew nothing about what they were talking about (and none of them spoke English very well fwiw). Of the 4 people I've now interacted with, NOT ONE PERSON WANTED TO KNOW OR WAS WILLING TO LISTEN TO WHAT THE WARRANTY CURRENTLY POSTED ON THE JEEP/MOPAR/STELLANTIS WEBSITE SAYS. I sent a scathing e-mail to the Assistant Service Manager that "assisted" me, who told me there is nothing he can do. As I told him, he is a representative of Jeep and his response in unacceptable. He is resubmitting my claim and I will be speaking with the Service Manager on Monday. Unless I hear him take ownership of the fact that it is their responsbility to ensure that my claim that is in-line with their posted warranty gets addressed (as opposed to "it's out of our hands"), the General Manager of the dealership will be next on the list.

You are not alone. Other threads on this where people have thought it was warrantied to find out its not. Best to just get a regular replacment. My INS all glass is covered on all our vehicals. No deductable. I have even had a choice of OEM or Safe light type< cost less but dont have the jeep easter egg. My INS has always gave me a choice on that.

We use American faimly INS. jeeps had three windows my old truck two. in the past say 13 years.
