Why now, a fast blinker?

So, sitting in the driveway I start the jeep and turn on the left blinker. It blinks normal speed for about 5 seconds then starts blinking super fast.
I switch to the right blinker it blinks normal speed for about 5 seconds then blinks super fast.
The only thing I did different earlier in the day was turn on the ac. The ac doesn't seem to affect it either way.
When I'm driving sometimes it blinks slow and sometimes fast. Strange.

I'm clueless. Could it be a weak battery?
Any ideas would be super helpful. Thx

X2. One of your bulbs is out. If not you have a faulty blinker module or the CAN bus thinks you have a faulty bulb, maybe because you installed and LED bulb with out the required resistor.

Not sure if this helps but when I put led turn signals in the front they started to blink way faster front and rear . I just left it cause it doesn't bother me but I think it has something to with not having enough resistance in the current. My 4-ways blink regular speed, more resistance. So maybe some kind of resistor going bad ? Don't know much about JKs but that's what happened in my TJ. Hope that helps.

YES! Fixed it. After I lifted the jeep I adjusted my headlights. I had the grill off. To do that the driving light need to be unplugged.
I never re plugged them.

But now I know, fast blinker = bad bulb.

Thx

Not pointless. When I read that I realized, what your saying is, it's a warning system and not just a malfunction. If that makes sense. Lol
It blinks normal for 5 seconds then goes fast. Funny it did that on both sides. Obviously both plugs disconnected.
Thx

Some vehicles blink at a slower rate, or not at all, when a bulb is out. Old style blinkers were a bi-metallic strip that would have to heat up due to the current flow through the circuit. If a bulb was out, current flow in the circuit decreases (depending upon the circuit design) and the bi-metallic strip would take longer to heat up. Most vehicles now do not even have a flasher at all, they are a function of the body control module and the click noise you hear is coming from the vehicle speakers (usually the left front).
