I was at Publix yesterday and this pulled up next to me. I mentioned his tires and he said there was NO lift. Just a "LOT" of cutting!

All those straps, makes it look like a Sumo wrestler.

Not in a good way. lol

They look massive at that height. i can only imagine the height of the bumpstops to keep those tires out of the fender edges.

My 3 year old daughter saw it coming down the aisle before me and my wife. HA! It kinda looked like a roller skate. Not sure why you would spend the money on 38s and 20" wheels and not opt for a lift of any kind. Why hack up you Jeep for useless tires. Cmon!

Looks more like a prank, then a project.
Won't las long either way, those goofy rimz and tires, hanging that far out will tear things up in short order.

Another guy who will be crying he's a victim because the cops keep harassing him and handing him tickets for his tires sticking out past the fenders.

$1K saved in not doing a lift. $10K spent on replacing bent axles and paying tickets.

Let me take a wild guess. The guy is an 18-25 year old?

The height doesn't bother me as much as the width - 15.50"!!! - which is probably led by the tire manufacturer... a think a 37x12.50x15 would look a lot better here.

I think it looks completely asinine.

Asinine was not quite satisfying... let me continue:

Stupid, foolish, brainless, mindless, senseless, idiotic, imbecilic, ridiculous, ludicrous, absurd, nonsensical, fatuous, silly, inane, witless, and empty-headed.

There... I feel better. :D

Speaking of 38's. The set up on this jeep I LOVE. The tires happen to be 38 15.50 20. Will I be looking at trouble wanting this set up? however I'm keeping my wheels at 18's. Want this to be the final look of my rig.
no you won't run into trouble with wheels and tires like that so long as you build the jeep properly. lots of things to account for. lift, steering, axle upgrades, gearing, and braking to name a few. tires that size are heavy; if that's the build you want, and you have a Dana 30 axle - you ought to seriously consider replacing it. or at a minimum installing a truss and c-gussets. but even then, you're gambling with the strength of the axle and the weight of the wheels/tires. add to all of that, a big brake kit to account for the additional weight, upgraded steering components which won't wear with the stress.

easy to do. just expensive.
