Best prices in the country?

What dealerships do you guys think have the best prices in the country?

I have been looking at the prices on the websites for Lustine Jeep and Koon's Jeep in VA and cant get over the prices. The best I can figure is they are right around 10% off invoice price or 15% off MSPR.

I cant seem to find anyone around here that will come close to those prices.

Are there special pricing incentives for different areas of the country?

Are there other dealerships out there offering similar deals?

Thanks!

You have to read the fine print. Some dealers list a price online and they don't mention that price is with a 3000 trade in credit, currently have to be leasing a jeep and be in the military.

Here in So Calif, Huntington Beach CDJR usually has the lowest advertised prices, but that doesn't mean you can't get a good deal elsewhere.

I have found the best deal is that prior model year leftover Jeep some dealer is desperate to unload.

Shoot for 10% off msrp, anything on top of that you can haggle is just gravy!

If you are trading in a vehicle for a jeep, colorado is pretty sweet. You only pay sales tax on the difference.

For example I traded in my 2010 Tacoma for $16,500 on a $37,500 jeep, so I only paid sales tax on $21,000. In California you'd be paying sales tax on $37,500

I got the deal through their DC Group Buy via JG. They offer 7% below plus TTL and a $599 processing fee. You're right though about dealers and their Internet pricing. It can be very misleading. Usually that's every rebate available, including ones you will never qualify for.

I'm happy to provide a quote to anyone who is looking, our reputation is excellent. I don't play games, I'm just straight forward to the point.

We are located in Tysons Corner, VA. I won't get gimmicky not my style.

Erica and Koons are legit! I got my 2016 JKU Sport S from them about 2 weeks ago and process could not be smoother. Did everything via email and only time I stepped into the dealer was to take delivery! 7% under invoice with $599 processing, no gimmicks, no tricks! The inventory on the lot was impressive! Probably 150-200 Wranglers on the ground... Worth the trip for great service and a great deal!

One thing to keep in mind is that some of state dealers have less incentive to sell to non-local people due to their allocation formulas from Jeep. I flew to Oklahoma City last year to buy a new JKUR, and the deal strangely changed overnight and when I got their they wouldn't honor the price we negotiated. A sales girl told me about how they are discouraged to sell out of state because their allocation of Jeeps will shift to where people actually live who are buying them (allegedly). I ended up getting the best deal 10 miles from home after I wasted a couple hundred dollars on plane tickets.

Are you also Koons_Of_Tysons_Corner? You both only have 2 posts.

Koons is a decent dealer and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them. That said, there was very little difference in the prices offered by all the Jeep dealers in Northern Va. I thought the manager at Farrish was very straight forward and easy to deal with, and I believe Ourisman had the best price by a hair.

I ended up buying from Haley Jeep in Richmond because they had the exact vehicle I wanted. They are a small dealer and my experience was awesome. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

If you are or ever were military, or you or someone in your immediate family is employed by the Dept. of Defense, then you can join Navy Federal Credit Union. When I was looking at the buy new vs find a great deal on used, the pricing I could get through their buying program had me leaning towards a new JKU, and that price didn't include the rebates I could've taken advantage of. In the end, I only went used because I found a '13 JKU with a good amount of work done that I would've ended up paying a shop to do (lift install, regear, Rubicon take-off skids, blahblahblah), at a price I couldn't pass up.

Some of the numbers quoted here are crazy (like, "Buy the last '15 we have sitting on the lot, and we'll steeply discount it" crazy), but going through NFCU I could've had the JKUR that MSRP'd at 43k for ~36k plus taxes and such.

dave smith motors in Idaho is consistently the price leader. People fly in from every state to save money. Fly in drive home. They are the largest CDJ dealer in the world.

It's also hard to find a JK in the Northwest that doesn't have some tie to Dave Smith. Several I looked at came through there including the one I bought.

I just bought a 2016 JKUR auto, remote start, 4.10 gears, towing package for 28,900 out the door with a trade in.

Trade in was a 2003 TJ (just X model) 86,000mi , 5 speed, basically bone stock with stock rims and tires. Gave me 10k for the trade in.

all in all 28.9 out the door with 2.2 APR for 72 wasn't bad at all.

I bought by GC from Koons and had no problem getting the WOW price they listed. Actually did a little better with trade in value. There were other rebates available on top of that which I didn't qualify for. The destination charge was added on as others mentioned. They're a huge volume dealer so I think they can get away with thinner margins than smaller dealers.

Nice thing about N. VA is the number of large volume dealers within a 20 mi radius of each other. Makes for some interesting purchases. I chose the one in Manassas over the dealer located in Vienna. Vienna pulled the last minuet "we sold the vehicle " quoted, even though they had a duplicate vehicle on their lot

So far Koons Jeep has been the best I've dealt with. Erica has been wonderful to deal with and Jason has been outstanding to work with.

I've been to literally every single dealership in the Northern Va area looking for a JKUR with 4.10 gears, hard top, and auto transmission. Every one of them has pulled a bait and switch so far with true car pricing and even just verbal comms.

One of the sales managers at a Jeep dealership in Manassas offered to order me one at a specific price and told me its ok to sleep on it for a couple of nights. I texted the sales rep we were working with a couple of days later, she said he must have been mistaken and that the price he offered was not an option. I was absolutely livid. He sat my wife and I down and shook hands on a standing offer to order one at a specific price. Two days later, he backs out and says that we must be mistaken and cannot order one at the price he shook on. I looked this guy in the eye and shook his hand on this agreement.

Long story short, I walked into Koons on sunday with my wife, talked to a gentleman named Jason and he let us take a JKUR that had the specs I wanted for a test drive. After the test drive I was really torn as to whether to order one in the color I was in love with (Mojave Sand) or go with the black one they had on the lot at the true car price. Jason made it easy, he said he'll order me one at the same price as the one we test drove with the same options. My jaw literally hit the ground when he threw out that offer.

I put the $500 down as soon as he said that. Before this thread and contacting Erica and Jason, I was about to throw in the towel on finding a JKUR at a price I was comfortable with. The trouble with NoVa is that most people who want higher trimmed Jeeps have no issue throwing down extra on nav systems, sound systems, etc.. Unfortunately the prices higher spec'd JKUR's bring in on dealer lots in this area are out of my range by quite a bit in most cases. To top it off, most of the dealerships I've dealt with have just lead me on via email to bring me in for a bait and switch.

Koons was the first and only to honor their word. I'm really hoping this all goes through ok with cautious optimism at this point. I seem to have bad luck when it comes to stuff like this but so far, Jason and Erica have taken good care of me.
