Asides from Rock Krawler and Synergy, who else sells high clearance lower control arms (the control arms have a bent in them towards the front and down)

These were the Synergy adjustable i had in my first Jeep

Who else makes them like that ?

I was wondering if my metalcloak suspension had that bend. But they just have straight rear control arms. They do make a point of telling you they build the ends to align properly with the jeep suspension.

Yep I checked the MC ones at the Offroad Expo this weekend, they have the bend towards the inside like most. My Claytons are like that as well.
I'm liking the RK Adventure X ones cause they have the high clerance bend like Synergy and zero maintence joints as well like Synergy.

I thought replacing my Clayton ones but only cause i want to favor high clearance arms on the lowers, but i'm trying to think if i've ever been anchored by not having the bend that way and i don't think i've..., still I can tell for a fact and 100% though that i've rested my Clayton front lowers and rear lowers on rocks as judged by the rock rash i have on my arms, more so the front ones with respect of the rear so i'm looking for a little better clearance down there. I think i'll just do front lowers and I wanted to find out if there were others out there using a similar approach.

Carli is another vendor who that uses the high clearnance approach on the lowers

I have MC on mine, but I have heard nothing but good things about Core as well but I don't know if their lower arms are bent for high clearance or what kind of joints they use. Might be worth looking into.

Core front lowers are bent towards the inside for tire clearance. The stockers are like that, my Clayton arms are also like that. I'm just pointing out which arms are bent down for ground clearance in case somebody is looking at them. I thought getting myself a pair but damn they're more expensive than standard arms. For now i don't need to replace them but wanted to have something to look at in the future if needed :)

Do your homework on the joint angles and the types of joints. The aftermarket is such a mixed bag of good and bad. When I've focused on one aspect of a product, I've sometimes overlooked other important aspects. In this case, what's the true value of the fraction of an inch of ground clearance gain at the radius of your tire size? etc. Does it outweigh other important aspects of other known makers?

Yep you bring a good point. i always look for type of joints in any aftermarket control arm i run in any vehicle. I don't run anything aftermarket that doesn't have a flex joint, and typically i'll run something from a known brand when it comes to control arms.,I won't mention any names but there are brands i will not use.

Synergy in fact curves for both sides, for ground clearance and also for tire clearance. I'd like to think all high clearance arms are like that, but i really don't know which is also another point i want to make out this thread to learn, I'm just looking to know options in this segment of the arms.

I know Synergy does this because i've run both flavors fixed and ajustables form them for JK.

I don't see anything special about the joint angles in either, and to me the Synergy bents are better than Claytons if i was looking to have more clearance down there, which is also another point of this thread. Granted i think that's why Synergy are also more expensive. Claytons have the bend like stockers and are also level like the stockers so nothing expecial on the joint angle either that makes you think oh oh this angle is not going to work.

My Synergy fixed compared to Clayton, you can see how both bent to the inside, but the Claytons are flat while Synergy curve up for ground clearance. Both joints self center which makes it almost impossible to mess the install, Core4x4 arms with JJ's don't behave like these, not because Core, but because JJ's don't self center so you have to make sure you center the joint yourself. Not a big deal if you know what you're doing at install time.

I have installed Core arms, Don't remember they had an special angle joint and if they did i didn't even see them :), This i did Core for a friend

I've also done TF in my Jeep (they bend towards inside) MC for a friend (they bend towards inside), Rancho for a Friend (they bend towards inside) Don't remember in any instance seen anything offset in the joints that would make look at one specific set of arms and reject the others unless the joints were rubber. I don't buy aftermarket arms with rubber joints.

I'd like to see how the Rock Krawler control arms look in real life.
I'd like to see if there is anytiung else in that realm and If they bent for ground clearance AND tire clearance or just for ground clerance.

From everything i looked so far i'd be inclined to get me a set of Synergy front lowers adjustable, mostly cause i've had them before and i know them already. But like i said, at this point in my setup i don't need them today, i might do something different tomorrow just cause, and maybe tomorrow i end with something completely different too or keep everything the same. Sometimes the triggering factor is a big discount and i fall for it :)
