If I buy a new GMC Canyon AEV do I get to stay? Or do I need to buy a new JL?

Looked at a "Bison" at the Miami Auto show - Awesome Truck

I looked at GMC Canyon AEV at the Orange County Auto show this past weekend.

It may hold a slight edge on the 'Bison' due to the nicer interior and most important---the seats. But the Canyon needs those Multimatic jounce-control dampers on the front and rear suspension that's on the 'Bison'... must be that competitive thing between GMC and Chevrolet.

My bet is there are other's who feel similar anxiety. IMO Jeep is going to lose a ton a sales with the bonehead move they made with no 3.6L with an automatic. Hopefully they realize that's a mistake. They sidelined me.

I really liked the last gen ZR2 when it 1st came out. However now they look dated. I have feeling I will say the same about the current ZR2 and Canyon in a few years.

I will say I think they look better than anything else in midsize pickup competition.

The Ranger looks boring. The Tacoma has too much going on with the front end. I would never buy another Nissan vehicle but the Frontier looks good every time I see one.

I test drove a ZR2 Colorado. That thing dinged and made so many nanny noises I thought I was driving a Subaru.
can you elaborate? other than the chimes and reminders how did it ride and drive?

I test drove a 2024 JLUR X with 35s and 4:88s and really liked it. But Since Carlos Tavares and his henchman decided not to sell 2025s with an 8-speed torqueflite I'm forced to move on. Many others will as well.

If I had to replace my Gladiator it would not be with anything with a 3.6 and a stick. I'll just drive my '14 Ram 2500 diesel 4x4. Maybe get a 392 just for fun.
