Well the picture says they're for a JL, not a JK..... but the year stated is correct.... Typical cheap china issues

 

I saw these in an installation video for a different brand. I need some of these to slip over the hole to thread the bolt. I’ll be calling Oedro and asking about these. Anyone know where to find these if they are no help?

 

I have them on my 08. Installed clean, no issues in over 2 years. The only change I made was to paint them all one color...

 

How did the carriage bolts screw into the underside of your rocker panel? (The large bolt that goes upwards)

 

When I get back on Friday, I'll take a picture and post it.

 

You can get those clip nuts at ACE Hardware or most any good hardware store. They'll have drawers with specialty fasteners in them.

 

Thank you. I found them on line as a complete hardware kit for wrangler rock sliders for the rocker panel and planned on searching at HomeDepot or somewhere for them.

Here is a picture of the forward bolt. The bolts and the clips were included with the kit.

 

Thanks. I ended up finding the bolts and clips / slip nuts at Home Depot in the specialty fastener drawers.

 

 

Looks great! I bought a set to replace the OEM steps as they appear to be a couple inches lower. My wife found climbing into our JK difficult. The steps will arrive in a few days. How have you liked them?
