A buddy of mine has them on his Jeep. They look awesome. His are super heavy, lug holes are very deep and hard to line up. Those two things make them more difficult to put on when rotating or working on something the requires them to be removed and reinstalled. Other than that he likes them.

 

I have heard that if you live anywhere they put salt on the roads the bolts rust. Love the wheels also but I don’t want to deal with rust.

As you can see, I have a set on my 2012 JKU. I’ve certainly enjoyed them and the different look they’ve given my rig. However, I’m planning to sell them as I want to go with a different style.

To echo what’s been said, Yes, they are heavy. I believe I read the 17x9.5s like mine are 39lbs each. And, Yes, my experience with them has shown the outer hex-head bolts may rust. To prevent that, I used a rust protecting paint.

Thanks everyone for your post. Yea im debating going his route or the oem moab wheels for the jl which are light but will need a spacer. I heard the new versions of the armor wheel hex nuts are plastic so they dont rust.
