I own a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport automatic I've been having this issue where if I hit any kind of bump big or small when I'm driving it turns my traction control light and check engine light on and my jeep's acceleration is basically non-existent and if I don't hold the gas pedal down constantly the it feels like my jeep has hit a wall and starts to slow down quickly almost instantly and feels like it has trouble shifting gears the last time I had this problem theoretically fixed they said it was the driveshaft position sensor that had broke and replaced it then after a few months it started again

Does anyone know a possible cause or had any problems like this before if you've had this issue before then what was the exact issue
I'd appreciate anything y'all know that could shed light on this issue

The traction control automatically throttles the jeep down when it comes on. Throttle will not come back until traction is fully restored. That part is normal. The question is.... why is it coming on along with the check engine light on a bump. I would assume a loose speed sensor wire, an erratic sensor reading, or a steering angle sensor... but you should scan for codes on the computer. I have no idea what a "drive shaft position sensor" is or why it would be considered as part of the problem. Are you sure you have that part name correct?

I may be misremembering but I could swear that was what they said idk I've tried scanning the codes before but I turned my jeep off for a second(my mistake) and when my stepdad used his scanner all it read was the check engine light which was a cam shaft position problem I think

Just curious what you found on the traction control problem. I have the same issue with my 2012 Wrangler. I can reset it and it will go away for a short time but it always comes back. Check engine light along with the traction control light and a loss of available power as well as an RPM governor. If anyone has some good info regarding this problem, I would appreciate the info.
