I prefer Quadratec.com. They are a Jeep only vendor and on the opening screen you choose your Jeep and then the items listed fit your Jeep. They are not the cheapest, but they do offer WF members a 5% discount which almost pays the sales tax for most members. Just contact their customer service dept to get set up. It does not show on the screen when ordering, as it is applied at the time the invoice is prepared and your card charged.

Chilton was once on the other end of the block from Quadratec.

They were a client and I called on them and had a great sales relationship.

I've purchased many of my parts from them over the years.

Then they changed hands (generationally) and then I started to experience issues. They weren't big ones, but just enough to try elsewhere.

I started using Extreme Terrain and they've not let me down yet.

Next month, it will be an ENTIRE YEAR that Quadratec has emailed me every couple of weeks saying "we're still working on your order".

Literally, an entire friggin year that they claim something I ordered (that they said was IN STOCK when I did) is still "out of stock".

I'm less than impressed.

I have used Extreme Terrain a few times, nothing really negative to say about them. Quadratec is pretty good, but I prefer Northridge or Rubitrux over ET or Q.

I stopped buying from Northridge in 2021.. N4x4 has the worst return policy of the planet. Good luck with them if you need to return something. They have silly excuses designed to make your return as painfull as they can and that is assuming they let you return. I won't give them my time anymore much less my money. I've looked through their website a few times since then to compare prices literally only to laugh knowing I found the part I wanted cheaper from somebody else.

I go with Amazon the most because of their return policies and delivery times. I also buy from Extreme Terrain, Quadratec and Poly Performance. Zero issues if I need to return. Fact is never had any issues returning anything other than trying to do so through N4x4.

i have bought about 80% of my parts through NR4x4 but this was before COVID and have never had to return anything. Their prices have always been the driving factor.

has NR4x4 changed since COVID?

Back in 2014(ish) I cracked the hard top while wheeling my TJ. One of the guys (Ryan) from Extreme Terrain sent me a Barricade soft top for FREE, unprompted, unsolicited. I'd never even purchased from them at the time. I bought a used soft top frame and had a new top for the TJ for $25.

I found that Extreme Terrain is part of the parts reseller group of stores that I’ve used a lot for my RAM truck and Mustang. It makes sense with the feel of customer service calls and the website/app. I even double checked while on hold that I wasn’t on the phone with American Trucks or American Muscle.

That being said, ET’s abandoned cart emails DRIVE ME INSANE. I don’t want to flag messages as spam in case I miss a sale, but holy crap, I don’t need (literally) an email every 2hrs about it. I tried clicking unsubscribe through the emails and calling to unsubscribe, yet I still get them. I told customer service (who I’m 99% certain doesnt care) that I won’t spend more money with ET until they fix those emails.

I've used Extreme Terrain and they're one of my least favorite vendors. Quadratec has treated me well as has Northridge 4x4, though lately, NR4x4's customer service has gone downhill. I've had issues with All 3 related to delays getting parts, though worst experience has been ET and QT. I just received some touch up paint from QT that I ordered nearly a year ago. In general, all 3 will try to treat you well. My experience has been that ET has the highest prices and worst customer service of the 3.
