Do they even make bottles that require bottle openers anymore?

Everything today seems to come with a twist-off cap. I honestly can't remember the last time I needed a conventional bottle opener.
most all micro brew beer needs a bottle opener. 'sides even twist of beer caps are much cooler to open with a bottle cap opener fastened to your jeep. :)

I may be wrong, but judging by the angle of that one, wouldn't you lose the first mouthful of beer when the lid pops off? I'll just stick to my Shiner Bock...twist top!

Wear Reef flip flops

I've had plenty of those flip flops over the years and it's one of those good-on-paper-but-not-great-in-practice ideas. I've only actually used it as a bottle opener maybe 5 times. Crud always ends up in the bottle opener part of it and who knows what kind of crap I've stepped on over the years that it's not going anywhere near something that's going in my mouth.

We won't be putting you in charge of beer at the cookout ;)

I thought this was a sarcasm thread; I generally open my glass bottle cokes or beer bottles for friends by just popping down upon the top while the low rim edge of cap is sitting over my front bumper ( Expedition One DX) , rear frame or the de facto opener on the JK/JKU ...that being silver latch on the frame where the door latches closed .
I don't think OP realizes these come w/ a perfectly suited size for opening bottles, heh. :bop:

edit: I just realized @cipster already pointed it out !
